REM Automatisering

REM Automatisering (rem.nl) is a Dutch software company based in Amsterdam that has been developing and implementing software for organizations since 1985, mainly in the public sector. The company builds applications that support administrative and organizational processes, and also provides consultancy, implementation, and support. Their solutions are often developed in collaboration with clients, with customization and co-creation playing an important role.

Their best-known product is OpenWave, an open-source case management system for VTH processes (permitting, supervision, and enforcement) used by municipalities, provinces, and environmental agencies. REM maintains the source code and develops the system together with a community of users and partners, allowing public organizations to jointly invest in and benefit from the same software.
